1. Who sends these SMS
SMS from CallFiltr are sent by Vriksha AI Technologies Private Limited, the company that operates the CallFiltr app, under our DLT-registered sender ID (header). We are registered as a Principal Entity on the DLT platform, and every message we send uses a template approved under TRAI's Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018 (TCCCPR).
2. What we send
One-time passwords (OTP)
When you sign up or sign in to the CallFiltr app, you enter your mobile number and tap Send OTP. We send a 6-digit code to that number by SMS. You enter the code in the app to prove the number is yours. We also send an OTP when you change your registered mobile number.
A typical OTP message looks like this:
- Each code is valid for a few minutes and can be used only once.
- CallFiltr staff will never call or message you asking for your OTP. Do not share it with anyone.
- Requests are rate-limited per number to prevent misuse.
Service messages
We may send essential service messages about your account, such as a change of registered number or a security alert. These are transactional, not promotional.
What we don't send
We do not send promotional or marketing SMS, and we do not send SMS to anyone who has not entered their number in the CallFiltr app.
3. Consent
By entering your mobile number in the CallFiltr app and tapping Send OTP, you ask us to send a verification code to that number. We send OTP and service SMS only for that purpose. Your number is never sold, rented or shared for marketing.
4. Messages to your callers
CallFiltr can send a WhatsApp or SMS reply to someone who called you, but only when you turn on auto-replies or send one yourself. These are sent on your behalf to people who just called you, and are covered by our Terms.
5. Stopping SMS and reporting misuse
- If you get a CallFiltr OTP you didn't request, ignore it. No account is created without the code.
- To stop all SMS from us, delete your account (Settings → Privacy and data → Delete account) or email support@vriksha.ai with your number.
- You can also register complaints about unwanted commercial communication with your telecom operator or through the TRAI DND app.
6. Your data
How we store and protect your mobile number is described in our Privacy Policy. SMS delivery logs are kept only as long as DLT and telecom regulations require.
